While Dr. Jonathan Pena originally hails from southeast Wisconsin, he has been practicing primary optometric care in the Bay State for nearly a decade. After completing his undergraduate studies of Biomedical Sciences at Marquette University, Dr. Pena moved to the Boston area to pursue his Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. For the past four years, Dr. Pena had been traveling all over Massachusetts providing eye care to patients by means of a mobile vision clinic. However, Dr. Pena is no stranger to the Cambridge area, dedicating his initial four professional years at a locally owned optometry office in Cambridge.
On a personal level, Dr. Pena currently resides in Massachusetts, with his wife and two children. He is a major sports enthusiast and die-hard Green Bay Packer fan. He also enjoys watching cooking shows, relaxing at the beach, and has recently developed a fondness for woodworking.
Dr. Pena is accepting all patients for routine eye care and is thoroughly adept at contact lens fittings and evaluations, including toric and multifocal contact lenses. He is also welcome to co-managing patients undergoing ocular surgeries, such as cataract extraction or refractive surgery/LASIK.
